This mic keeper was designed due to frustration. On many occasions, during working operations, my mic clip failed to stay clipped to my turnout gear. When the clip came off, it was very difficult to retrieve the mic and re-attach it to my gear in a timely manner. I was inspired to develop a more streamlined, easier to use mic holder that can be used with or without turnout gear. It can also be attached to a duty shirt with ease. This mic keeper not only wraps around your mic to secure it in place, but also has a metal trigger snap clip to ensure it will stay attached to your turnout coat or SCBA strap. The mic keeper is made of heavy duty nylon webbing and a nickel plated trigger snap hook.
