Description

Our rescue sling is designed with the rescuer in mind. It is lightweight (weighs 1 lb. 4 oz.), flexible, and easy to apply to your victim with non-locking aluminum corrosion resistant (self healing) carabiners. Made with high density foam tubing enclosed with a waterproof fabric. 6,000 lb. webbing is encased through the foam and sewn at each end of the waterproof fabric which will allow for moderate hoisting such as onto a seawall, dock or boat. This sling is NOT designed for helicopter rescue. The retrieval strap is 32 inches in length and has a sewn loop for pulling your victim to safety. Double carabiners allow for easy closure of the sling when using gloved hands and where dexterity and visibility is limited. Tube length is 42 inches. Total length from end to end is 63 inches. Weight of sling is 1 lb. 4 ounces.
